Albert Einstein

He is the man on my avatar - and one of my great inspirations in life.

Not as a scientist, I will never be able to even understand some of what he has written in that field. I have basic knowledge in physics, but that is not why I admire his thinking so much.

Albert Einstein

He was born in a jewish family - and grew up to be a man during the time before second world war. He was more or less forced to flee the Germany that was his country, and sought refuge in US.

So, he knew oppression, and he experienced the war, but even before that he wrote:
"This topic brings me to that worst outcrop of herd life, the military system, which I abhor... This plague-spot of civilization ought to be abolished with all possible speed. Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism -- how passionately I hate them!"

Albert Einstein 1931

He was also - after the war - supporting the thought of a World Government.

He was a humanist, pacifist and believer in democracy.

Lazy Good For Nothing Bum!

Yes, I am lazy.

I have neglected this blog ever since my birthday.

No, I didn´t get that depressed because of it, but other things keeps on taking my attention. Small petty things like - my job.

I started my blog when I was deep in a project, and that project is ALMOST finished. Just one more thing, and then I may reap the benefits, that is - get paid. Hopefully I will finish it tonight.

I will try to return here more regulary.

But, lazy - that I am. I can work very hard to be able to be lazy. When I have a problem that can be solved with monotonous repetetive operations, I usually spend a lot of time thinking how I can create some automatical routine that will do this for me. And sometimes - creating that routine will take me longer time, than solving the task manually.

I try to console myself with the thought that - Next Time - this will help me. But, usually - next time around - the problem is different, so I have to do it all over again.
